How We Started
In 1988, Founding Pastors Harold and Debby Gilmore had a vision to break away from denominational constraints and form a church where God is the leader and director. From that vision came Solid Rock Tabernacle.
We are a group of believers that hold the doctrine of the Bible, and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in everything we do.
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit church that strives to reach the community and the world with compassion, charity and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Rev. Harold and Debby Gilmore, Senior Pastors
As founding Pastors, Harold and Debby Gilmore have served as the Senior Pastors of Solid Rock Tabernacle for 35 years.
Having a background in construction, our Pastors literally built the building that now houses this fellowship.
Their dedication and passion for bringing the Word of God to the community and their desire to serve the Lord has sustained them for the 35 years that they have faithfully served.
Rev. Billy Stewart, Th.D., Assistant Pastor
Billy Stewart came to Solid Rock Tabernacle as a guest minister in 2020 and was led by God to make SRT his home church. In August of 2020, he was appointed Assistant Pastor where he has served since.
He has worked in various capacities in the ministry such as Evangelist, Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor and as Senior Pastor before coming to Solid Rock Tabernacle.
His insightful teaching and inspired preaching will carry Solid Rock Tabernacle into the future years.
